This Week

I love the view from my house! I thought it was so pretty so I decided to take a pic. I love that I can sit outside and watch my older kids play at the park.

We went to a local fun park as a family activity on Monday night. We were the only people there. We did the go karts and tried to do mini golf. If anyone has four kids they know this is not a good idea. Tyler loved it but Easton was a disaster. I wasn't very impressed with it and it wasn't cheap. We had to hurry because Eric had a softball game and had to get home to change. We stopped at Mcdonald's and got ice cream. The kid's thought that was the best part. Next time we'll just go there and save about forty dollars.

We finally made some progress with our ugly yard. A friend of ours trenched for our sprinklers. We still have to clean the rest of the dirt out before we can start on putting the sprinklers together.

This is what happens when you leave your Diet Pepsi unattended for a few seconds!

Our kids have really been enjoying the new park. The city built a cool playground on three houses down and across the street. There are so many kids in our neighborhood that it is always packed.

10 year anniversary

I had my mom take some pictures of us so I could post a current pic. Ten years ago yesterday we got married. We were just barely eighteen years old and crazy in love. Boy, a lot has changed. We are still in love but now we have four kids under the age of six. We've lived in five different houses and had five jobs between the two of us. Our life is more hectic right now with school, lessons, work, church, etc but we've had a great life so far.

When I woke up yesterday I found this in the kitchen! They are so beautiful and smell yummy.

I know this picture doesn't do it justice but Easton got his first real big goose egg. Him and Kenadie were out on the deck playing and all of a sudden we heard a loud bang and then crying. It is so hard being the youngest kid!

A crazy week

I love this picture. I went upstairs to find Kenadie asleep with out kitty Gabby. She just got fixed two days ago, that is why she has the shaved belly. Why do kids always look so sweet when they're asleep?

Eric got a motorcycle a few weeks ago. He has been wanting one for years and I mistakingly told him that if he changed jobs he could get one. Well, Eric kept reminding me of that promise. I didn't even know Eric took this picture until I downloaded the photo's

I watched my nieces today so my sister-in-law could go to the temple. The kids had a blast and loved the barbie jeep. Cierra had a hard time getting the hang of the steering and pedal but once she did she didn't want to leave.

I don't know if you can tell what this is but it's a black widow spider! Eric was cleaning our cement pad and we had a slide laying on it. He went to turn it over and felt a bunch of spiderwebs. When he turned it over he realized how close he came to getting bit by a black widow.

Today is the first day of school. I can't believe it's already here. Last night Tyler and I went to back to school night while my mom watched the rest of the kids. (eric had to work) We sat in the gym for about 30 min with 40 billion people. I swear it was 100 degree's. I kept trying to fan myself but it wasn't helping much. Then we went to their classroom's and met the teacher. Tyler turned to me and said "I think my teacher is a little bit old" She seemed very nice but I was hoping she didn't smell my b.o. from sweating so much. Tyler was so excited for school this morning. He was ready by 7:30 am and kept asking me when it was time to go. He is walking with some neighbor kids since the school is only a few blocks away.

Kylie had her first day of preschool last week and it seems like a really good program. She goes for two hours three days a week. She will learn Kindergarten stuff and hopefully she will retain some knowledge for next year.

Summer review

Alright, I'm a computer retard. I posted all these photo's but it goes in reverse order so be patient with me.

Softball

My husband plays softball every year and just loves it! It is one of his "favorite" things to do. He is always the person who organizes it and plays with friends and guys from his old work. They won it all this year for the third year in a row.

Work Party

We had a pool party for my work. Easton was crazy! He kept trying to go under water for fun. Tyler, Cierra, Kyana, and Kylie just had fun chasing each other and riding noodles like horses. My sister-in-law and I work together so it makes events like this super fun. I love the photo of my brother in the snorkeling gear!

Kylie's fourth birthday

I know I already posted some pics but I had so many! Kylie's birthday was quiet but fun and everything was princess.

Ryan's place park

There is a really cool park in River Heights that is called "Ryan's place park" It was made by the community for a little boy who drowned in Lake Powell last summer. It has a ton of cool things and the kids loved it. We didn't stay too long d/t some #2 accidents. (I won't go into further detail but we did throw some underwear away!)

Dinosaur Park

We went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. We had fun looking at all of the different kinds of dinosaur's, digging for bones, and looking in the museum. Next time I think I would go when it wasn't 105 degree's.

Fourth of July

My sister was still here for the fourth and we got all of the cousins together. It was a full day. It was my grandma's 81st birthday and she went down the slip and slide! Then we went to my parent's and the kids played for hours. We did our own fireworks and then watched the big one's from the stadium. The kids camped out in the backyard with Eric and Larry, while us girls slept inside with the babies.

Pool fun

Ok, so I know that my sister is going to kill me for posting this picture. But, I only had a couple, so sorry! My sister and her cute little family came to visit from Oregon at the end of June. (I know, I'm only to June but I take a lot of pictures) We went to the local pool and the kids had a blast. Here is my super sexy hubby and baby.

Tee ball

Tyler played tee ball for the first time this summer. It was for 5-6 yr old boys and girls. Tyler did pretty well but most of the kids just goofed off. Tyler was the tallest one on the team, of course.

Kenadie becomes potty trained

I got my third kid potty trained! I only have one kid in diapers now! It has been four years of two kids in diapers. Kenadie was about 2 1/2 and ready. She has quite a few accidents at first but is doing great now!

Summer review

I hate to say it but summer is coming to an end. It is my favorite season for many reasons. I love the warmer weather, kids out of school, longer days, and lots of stuff to do. I thought it would be a good idea to do a summer review in photo's since I just started blogging.
The kids had swim lessons in early June. It was Tyler's third time and Kylie's first. I really like the swim lessons because they put them in different level's according to their ability. Tyler is able to jump of the side and dive in the water for objects, but not the deep end yet. Kylie was a little nervous but she did really well. Next time I'll have Kenadie start.

Recent pics

Well, I looked at my last posting and realized it was pretty sad. Hopefully they will get better with time. Since I just started this, I thought I'd put some pics of Kylie's fourth b-day on July 29th. I made a barbie cake, per Kylie's request, with purple and pink sprinkles. She got a backpack for preschool and was soooo excited. She just started preschool last week and has loved it. Kylie's main gift was a princess scooter with three wheels. This is a big week at our house. Tyler starts first grade on thursday and will be gone all day! Kylie will be gone monday, wednesday, friday at preschool for two hours. So, I will only have two kids at home! I won't know what to do with myself. Later in the week, I'll show Tyler's school photo's.

I'm blogging!

I can't believe it. I figured out how to blog. I got the idea from my sister in Oregon, who blogs to keep family updated on everything. I hope to keep Eric's family especially updated so they can see pictures of the kids and such. We went to the fair last week and the kids had a great time. They each got to ride on a couple of things. We looked at the usual cows, pigs, rabbits, etc. Here our a few pictures from our day:
